Foreign Minister Ali Babacan has held a second telephone conversation with Georgian Foreign Minister Eka Tkeshelashvili this afternoon.

Minister Babacan has also held a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Condolezza Rice.

Armed clash in neighbouring Georgia has a tendency to endanger stability in Caucasus.

Minister Babacan is in close contact with all the actors involved in the conflict and will continue to do so in the coming days.
